Friday saw the launch by Procter & Gamble (P&G) of a R300-million sanitary pad manufacturing plant in Kempton Park.
“We are seeing an additional manufacturing facility being introduced for Always sanitary pads, and we are also witnessing an additional line being added to the Pampers production line, bringing the latest in innovation and technology to South Africa,” said Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Nomalungelo Gina.
”P&G has invested over R1 billion since 2009,” she said.
