P&O Nedlloyd Logistics is born

THIS MONTH saw the transfer of P&O Nedlloyd's portfolio of Value Added Services into a new division called P&O Nedlloyd Logistics. Its services range from simple customs clearance to complex supply chain solutions including warehousing and distribution. The new division will continue to provide and develop these services but with greater autonomy and customer focus. P&O Nedlloyd has developed a specialist logistics focus on the retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, industrial and chemicals market sectors. It will concentrate on maritime intensive supply chains, linking all the other transport modes and creating value by integrating primary overseas sourcing with secondary delivery and distribution.
