Outward Selling Mission to Perth - Invitation to Attend

The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) will lead an Outward Selling and Investment Mission (OSIM) to Australia from 04 to 06 September.

Completed applications are due by 04 June.

The target sectors for this mission include:

·     Mining Companies;

·     Technology and Services Companies;

·     Mining, Capital Equipment and Services;

·     Steel Fabrication and Steel Tubing;

·     Engineering and Services; and

·     Electro-technical Equipment and Services.

The Mission will take place during the annual Africa Down Under (ADU) International Convention & Trade Show. ADU is the world’s leading gathering for companies and organisations in mineral exploration and mining.

Companies will be screened and selected in line with the Export, Marketing and Investment Assistance (EMIA) guidelines and market requirements, which are explained in the EMIA guidelines document. 

For the approved companies, the dti will provide:

·     Up to a maximum of R3 000 per night (bed and breakfast only);

·     Up to a maximum of R17 000; and

·     Up to a maximum of R2 000.

Companies will have to pay their own entrance fees to the exhibition.
