Outward Selling and Investment Mission to Singapore and Malaysia

The dti will lead an Outward Selling Mission (OSM) to Singapore and Malaysia, from 21 to 25 August.

The event is open to South African Agro-processed food manufacturers and exporters in the following sub-sectors: processed raw meat, sea food, fruit juices; fresh, dried and canned fruit; olive oil; canned foods; sauces, nuts, rooibos tea etc.

The dti will provide the following: (i) Hotel accommodation up to R2 300 per night; (ii) Economy-class return airfares to a maximum of R17 000; (iii) Excess baggage to a maximum of R2 000 (display material/samples), and (iv) Business-to-business meetings for participants

Companies that apply to participate will be screened and selected in line with Export, Marketing and Investment Assistance (EMIA) guidelines; market and product/service compatibility.

Companies that are not eligible for EMIA funding are welcome to participate in this mission at their own expense.

The closing date for applications is 23 June 2017.
