SPOORNET EMPLOYEES now have a mechanism for lodging complaints against more senior personnel - and even disclosing information they may have of fraudulent activities in the organisation.
An ombudsman, whom employees can approach in confidence, has been appointed to take up the role at the end of this month.
We've selected an outside financial firm which we know to be strong in auditing matters, says chief executive officer Zandile Jakavula.
We are determined in our efforts to root out fraud of all kinds in the organisation, and this could be a powerful tool in our endeavours.
