Conrad Lutombi, who has held the position as acting chief executive officer of the Namibian Roads Authority, has been confirmed in the position by the Namibian cabinet. His appointment is effective from October 1, 2013, and his contract will run for five years, according to a statement issued by the Roads Authority. Lutombi has served in various executive positions at the parastatal. Degrees and diplomas include: Sc. Leadership & Change Management (Leeds Metropolitan University, UK); BTech Degree: Policing (Tshwane University, RSA); National Diploma: Police Science (Polytechnic of Namibia); Advance International Diploma: International Road Safety Management (Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute, Sweden); Under Graduate LLB (UNISA, RSA); and Certificate: High Performance Leadership (University of Stellenbosch).
