DHL Global Forwarding has signed a deal with Tanger Med in Morocco for a new logistics hub in the Tanger Med Logistical Zone to build a gateway for international markets to and from Europe, North and West Africa.

The 6 000 sqm hub aims to provide customers with ‘end-to-end’ solutions such as customs clearance, facilitation and supply chain management along with its air, sea and road freight services.

According to DHL Global Forwarding general manger in Morocco, Christelle Fadel, the facility will “support multi-modal connectivity, especially its maritime as well as road connections to Casablanca and the South. It will allow us to expand and enhance our customer service offering”.

Operations are set to begin in May.
