Nando’s South African promised earlier this week that its customers would not find American imports in their meals, only fresh, whole and home-grown chicken.
“Nando’s is proudly South African. The American poultry that has landed in South Africa does not find its way into your Nando’s meal‚" says Geoff Whyte‚ CEO of Nando’s South Africa.
Quoted by TimesLive Whyte said he want to, “set the record straight,” after a radio interview in which Minister of Trade and Industry, Rob Davies, said that Nando’s made use of the American chicken.
"Nando’s will always serve only South African chicken," said Whyte.
