The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is to introduce a new call at Port Harcourt, Nigeria on March 1 this year.

MSC said in a statement: “As an important industrial centre and home to many multinational firms as well as businesses related to the oil industry, Port Harcourt offers importers significant advantages regarding its convenient geographical location and accessibility to road networks.”

Port Harcourt is the second largest port in Nigeria and “well-situated” to serve MSC customers in the urban centres of Aba and Onitsha, as well as offering a gateway to Abuja, Kano and the north of Nigeria.

Port Harcourt call will be introduced on the Douala feeder service. The new rotation will be Lome – Port Harcourt – Douala – San Pedro.
