More one-stop-border posts on the cards for Zambia

Zambia will soon construct one-stop border posts at Victoria, Kazungula and Katima Mulilo to enhance revenue collection in the country, said Minister of Finance Alexander Chikwanda.

He believes the move by the government will also help to ease congestion and reduce transit times for traders and transporters as well as promote efficient flow of goods resulting in increased trade.

He noted that since the one-stop-border post at Chirundu had been erected, the Zambia Revenue Authority had seen a “marked increase” in revenue collection.
