The following three Government Gazette notices, in terms of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, were published on 02 December 2016, namely (i) Establishment of statutory measure: Registration of persons involved in export of fresh citrus fruit; (ii) Establishment of statutory measure: Records and returns relating to persons involved in export of fresh citrus fruit; and (iii) Establishment of statutory measure and determination of guideline prices: Levies on fresh citrus fruit intended for export
On 02 December, in terms of the Agricultural Product Standards Act, a notice was published of the service fees, applicable from 01 January 2017, of abattoirs that participated in the classification and marking of meat.
