RAIL AND road transport needs on the Maputo Development Corridor for the next five years will come under the spotlight on April 13 in Johannesburg when interested stakeholders get together with Spoornet and CFM to debate the issue. It’s part of a drive by the Maputo Corridor Logistics Initiative (MCLI) to ensure the effective operation of the corridor. MCLI is still in the process of setting up a further three workgroups to address shipping matters, border issues and the institutional framework. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to contact Brenda.horne@mcli.co.za
