Maersk expects minimal impact from Hanjin’s rehab procedure

Following Hanjin Shipping’s decision to commence rehabilitation procedure in Korea, Danish shipping company Maersk Line said the company expected the move to have a minimal impact on customers’ cargo.

“We are aware of our customers who have cargo on board two of Hanjin’s operated vessels, Maersk Sebarok and Maersk Senang, sailing on the Chennai Express service between Far East Asia and South East India. While we expect minimal disruption, we are proactively working on reducing impact on cargo delivery,” said a spokesperson for Maersk Line.
