A MARKET evaluation has seen Italian Shipping Line Lloyd Triestino cutting out West African calls from its booking schedule.
From the end of this month the Mediterranean-SA MSA service will cease to sell space to-and-from West Africa - having previously been served via the ports of Dakar and Abidjan.
However, SA trade will continue to be served with weekly connections from the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
Following shipper demand, the line has also introduced additional reefer equipment services on the West Med-SA route.
