While considerable progress has been made, she believes women’s achievements could be recognised more widely across industries. “Within the logistics sector, I have seen women recognised and valued, particularly in leadership roles, which is encouraging. I would love to see the same level of recognition and celebration extended across other sectors.” Her advice to young women considering a career in logistics is to invest in their education, embrace every opportunity to learn and remain confident in their abilities. “There is absolutely a place for women in this industry and there are tremendous opportunities to build a successful and rewarding career. Never allow obstacles or setbacks to stand in the way of your ambitions. The industry needs talented women and there is no limit to what you can achieve.” LV
