KIEN HUNG Line has launched a multi-purpose triangular feeder service between the east coast of South America, South Africa and West Africa. The new SAWA service calls at Buenos Aires, Rio Grande, Sao Francisco Du Sul, Paranagua, Santos, Durban, Cape Town, Luanda, Lagos, Cotonou, Lome, Tema and Abidjan. Three vessels in the 11 000 ton dwt range - the Arnis, Castor and London Tower - are deployed on the route, sailing every ten days, depending on port productivity, particularly in West Africa. The Taiwanese carrier continues to provide five of the eleven 2 600 TEU vessels in the weekly Super Good Hope Express between the Far East, South Africa and East Coast of South America.
