In a Government Gazette dated 04 November 2011 the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries advised in terms of the Agricultural product Standards Act, 1990 of the Regulations relating to the Grading, Packing and Marking of Jam, Jelly and Marmalade Intended for Sale in the Republic of South Africa: Revision of Regulations. Comment is due by 30 December 2011.
