On 21 December 2018, the South African Revenue Service (Sars) announced the repeal and replacement of the Rules to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 in Section 77H “Internal Administrative Appeal; Alternative Dispute Resolution; Dispute Settlement”.
The 18-page amendment will take effect on 01 April.
