THE SIMON’S Town School’s maritime programme received a R17 000 boost recently thanks to the fundraising efforts of Maersk South Africa at its golf day in Cape Town.
Generous donations and an auction of an authentic autographed Brian McMillan South African cricket shirt yielded the welcome funds.
The school’s maritime programme aims to provide education to previously disadvantaged scholars in the Western Cape.
