On August 3, Sast announced the reduction in the “General” rate of customs of ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymers having a specific gravity of less than 0.94, classifiable in tariff subheading 3901.40, in Part 1 of Schedule No.1 to the Act, 1964 (Ordinary Customs Duty) from 10% ad valorem to free.
