Eswatini’s revenue collector has issued a statement informing the freight fraternity that it has changed its name.

It said that following an amendment of the Revenue Authority Act, its administration had changed its business name from Eswatini Revenue Authority to Eswatini Revenue Services (ERS).

The name change, which comes into immediate effect, means that the old abbreviation of SRA, which stood for Swaziland Revenue Authority, which had still been used despite the country’s name change, is now finally done away with.

The statement said that changing the collector’s brand identity from SRA to ERS was part of “our strategic approach to attaining our vision of 100% voluntary compliance for a better Kingdom of Eswatini”.
