Terry Hutson JOE MADLADLA, SA Port Operations chief operations manager for the Durban Container Terminal, has been appointed acting business unit manager for the terminal effective yesterday (April 1) when the former manager Ton Bestenbreur ended his contract with Sapo. According to Mervyn Chetty, executive manager corporate strategy and continuous improvement, an experienced replacement for Bestenbreur is being sought. But until he (or she) is found, Madladla will fill in. Bestenbreur, whose 12 month contract ended on March 31 and was not renewed, will remain available to give advice and assistance as required.
