On 15 September 2023, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) informed that the ‘Customs and Excise Drawbacks and Refunds’ [www.sars.gov.za/customs-and-excise/customs-refunds-and-drawbacks/] have been automated and the application must be made on an electronic form on eFiling.
