A two-day indaba hosted by the Cross Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) starts in Johannesburg today.
The theme of the Indaba is "Changing Gears - Transcending Borders" and aims to promote the role that the C-BRTA and cross border road transport plays in promoting economic development within the SADC region. The Indaba further aims to create a platform for discussion and debate in moving the industry to new levels of operational efficiencies.
According to the organisers, the indaba is expected to attract attendance from various transport industry stakeholders and experts from South Africa and the SADC region as well as from organisations such as the World Bank, SADC Secretariat on Transport, the USAID Southern Africa Trade Hub and the Development Bank of SA.
