On 01 January 2012 South Africa will be introducing significant amendments to the Harmonised System (HS). The last amendment to the HS took place on 01 January 2007. At its 47th Session in March 2011, the Harmonised Systems Committee agreed the following changes to its published Correlation Tables. The first correction • Insert row with respect to tariff subheading 2925.29, which contains the following remarks “Expansion of the scope of subheading 3002.10 entails the transfer of certain products of this subheading to subheading 3002.10”. The second correction • Delete the reference to subheading 3002.10 of the 2012 version and substitute it with a number of tariff subheadings for version 2007, which contains the following remarks “This scope of subheading 3002.10 has been expanded to cover other immunological products which are directly involved in the regulation of immunological processes.” The aforementioned corrections relate to Table I of the Correlation Table, and also found their way into the corrections of Table II of the Correlation Table.
