Container line launches new Africa-South America service

Container line NileDutch has launched a new weekly South America – South Africa – West Africa service through a Vessel Sharing Agreement (VSA).

The 3 100-TEU MV NileDutch Luanda is one of six vessels that will operate on the following port rotation: Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Luanda, Pointe Noire (every two weeks) and Navegantes.
Cargo from Buenos Aires and Rio Grande will be transported to the port of Santos by feeder.

Luanda will be NileDutch’s hub for cargo for Lobito, Namibe, Cabinda, Soyo, Boma and Matadi. Pointe Noire will serve as the hub for Douala, Libreville, Bata and Malabo.
