On 03 August 2023, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the imposition of anti-dumping duties on frozen bone-in portions of fowls of the species Gallus Domesticus classifiable in tariff subheading 0207.14.9, originating in or imported from Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, Poland and Spain in Part 1 of Schedule No.2 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964. The reasoning for the anti-dumping duties is contained in the International Trade Administration of South Africa (ITAC) Report No.695.
