Bosnia and Herzegovina this week became the 144th contracting party to the Harmonised System Convention. Its principal export commodities are metals, clothing and wood products. Machinery and equipment, chemicals, fuels and foodstuffs are its principal import commodities. The HS convention will enter into force in the country on January 1, 2014. Bosnia and Herzegovina has been a member of the World Customs Organisation since July 4, 2008.
