Bachmann-Megafreight move in together

TODAY MARKS the opening of the new Bachmann-Megafreight offices in Johannesburg, according to m.d. Gordon Pascoe. As part of the office rationalisation following the acquisition of JH Bachmann by Megafreight last year, the company bought the old Renfreight building in Jet Park and has now extensively renovated the premises. The move to the new abode is today (Jan 18) and the building will house both Megafreight and Bachmann Johannesburg staff operating under their new name Bachmann-Megafreight. The office restructuring has also been accompanied by a rationalisation of staff, Pascoe told FTW. "In the process," he said, "a total of 23 people at Bachmann Johannesburg opted to take retrenchment packages." The telephone numbers for the new premises remain the same as Megafreight's present number.
