Airlines bring on security surcharge

MANY INTERNATIONAL carriers operating in South Africa either have or are about to introduce a security surcharge following the tragic events in the United States last month.
First to reach FTW as it was about to go to print was KLM Cargo which announced its decision to impose a global surcharge of 15 euro cents per kilogram, effective on Monday (October 15).
