Aircraft orders set for take-off

THE WORLD aircraft fleet will more than double by 2022 to 34 000, according to a Boeing forecast. During the next 20 years, it added, airlines around the globe will take delivery of more than 24 000 aircraft worth US$1.9-trillion (R13.5 trillion).
