Airbus orders lag Boeing

In the first seven months of the year Airbus recorded 408 gross plane orders, but Boeing took the lead with 426 aircraft sales.

Excluding cancellations, Airbus had 367 net orders in the period to July 31. But again Boeing broke the tape first and reported a total of 380 net orders in the period ended July 28.
