Air China appoints ACP Worldwide as SA cargo sales agent

ACP Worldwide has been appointed by Air China as its South African cargo general sales agent to sell capacity on the airline’s first ever non-stop, direct flight between China and Africa.

The first inbound flight of the new service – operating between OR Tambo International Airport, in Johannesburg, and Beijing three times a week – began yesterday (October 29) using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, reports Air Cargo News.

“Air China has a very large network and we will be looking support not just cargo destined for Beijing but also to cities beyond, most notably Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou,” ACP Worldwide country manager Dawn Bailey was quoted by Air Cargo News as saying.
