On 09 December 2011 the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries published a notice in respect of the Nomination of Candidates for Appointment to the Agricultural Produce Agents Council, in terms of the Agricultural Produce Agents Act. Nominations are called for persons representing the following, (i) Producers of agricultural products (fresh produce); (ii) Fresh Producer Agents; (iii) Livestock Agents; (iv) Export Agents; and (v) Consumers. Nominations are due by 02 December 2011 (Accounting for the fact the Government Gazette was only published on 09 December 2011, this could be typographical error, or an extension might well be granted.)
