AeroGround and Lufthansa strike long-term deal

Munich Airport subsidiary AeroGround and Lufthansa have signed a new, long-term handling agreement.

The scope of the contact is similar to the previous contract and includes services ranging from apron aircraft and baggage handling, aircraft loading supervision, freight transport, fresh water/toilet services and the transport of passengers and crew. Several additional services, such as a service level agreement to ensure handling quality, are also included in the contract.  The agreement is retroactive from November 1, 2024, and ends on October 31, 2031.

Munich Airport CEO Jost Lammers welcomed the agreement, saying it reinforced a long-standing system partnership with Lufthansa and formed the basis of a strong future for the airport hub.
