Seafreight Clearing Controller

Our client, who is an international clearing and forwarding agent, is seeking a Seafreight Clearing Controller to handle the final mile of the file once it hits local ports.

Join a well-known name in the clearing and forwarding industry who boast a state of the art facility on the Eastrand of Johannesburg. 

Duties:

• Clearing of shipment.
• Transport Coordination.
• Invoicing and administration of shipment file.
• Arrange insurance cover and process claims.
• Provide guidance to Import Controllers and Learners.
• Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.

Requirements:

• 5 - 7 years experience handling seafreight clearing (Non-negotiable).
• ShipShape is highly advantageous.
• Matric.
• Reliable transport.
