 Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time procurement and availability of finished goods in line with demand forecasts and confirmed sales orders.
  • Collaborate with global sourcing and S&OP teams to align supply with business requirements.
  • Manage both imported and local supply, ensuring full compliance with customs, excise, and import regulations.
  • Oversee logistics coordination, customs clearance, and end-to-end order tracking through to dispatch.
  • Utilize MRP systems to optimise inventory levels and achieve targeted stock and service level objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain key procurement and EXIM reports for stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality or delivery issues, and manage vendor payments in accordance with company processes.
  • Review slow-moving and obsolete stock to minimise financial impact and support overall inventory performance.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal procurement procedures.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a planning and purchasing supervisory role.
  • Proven experience sourcing finished goods is essential.
  • Experience working with international suppliers is required.
