Turkish adds capacity

TURKISH AIRLINES this month reinstated its A340 on the Johannesburg-Istanbul run, vastly increasing cargo capacity to between 15-20 tons. Bookings have remained strong according to a spokesman for GSA Airline Cargo Resources, with the airline also finding a greater call for passenger bookings following the withdrawal of several airlines serving Europe. This has encouraged Turkish Airlines to dispense with any plans to stop flying on the South African route.
