On 20 June 2025, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the correction of the English version of Note 10 in Chapter 84 in the Government Gazette notice published on 22 October 2021 by referring to ‘84.85’ instead of ‘85.85’ where it occurs in the last line of that Note.
The amendment is with retrospective effect from 01 January 2022.
