In a Government Gazette dated 09 March the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries published the following notices with respect to regulations, statutory measures, etc: • Classification, packing and marking of fat spreads intended for sale in the Republic of South Africa; • Amendment of statutory measure: Levy relating to potatoes; • Registration of milk producers; • Records and returns by milk producers; • Registration of producers, processors, importers and exporters of pecans and pecan products; • Records and returns relating to pecan trees as well as domestic production, processing, imports and exports of pecans and pecan products; and • Establishment of statutory measures and determination of levies on pecans and pecan products.
