Ocean freight industry role-players are reminded of an online meeting tomorrow, 8 March, of the Offshore Operations Stakeholders Forums (OOSF).
The meeting will focus on ongoing issues experienced in Algoa Bay, South Africa’s only offshore bunkering area.
According to Unathi Sonti, executive chairperson of the Maritime Business Chamber, Transnet National Port Association will give a presentation about offshore bunkering to the OOSF during the meeting.
There will also be feedback from an intergovernmental meeting on the lifting of a moratorium in relation to offshore bunkering in Nelson Mandela Bay.
