A WOMAN may well occupy the Spoornet chief executive officer's chair sometime in the future, says current incumbent Zandile Jakavula.
In fact, Jakavula is laying plans to make it a strong possibility.
We have established a committee of women who will monitor and drive the programmes of women employment, he says. This committee meets with me every two months to evaluate progress made.
They will, among other tasks, ensure that women are protected from any abuse or lack of recognition.
