Special Shops for Diplomats – Rule Amendment – Correction Notice

On 16 June 2021, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the publication of a Correction Notice (DAR 216) to the Government Gazette Notice of 14 June 2021, relating to the insertion of Rules relating to customs and excise warehouses licensed as special shops for diplomats after Rule 21.04.13 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964.

The erroneous numbering of the Rules has been amended accordingly 21.5.1 to 21.05.01; 21.5.2 to 21.05.02; 21.5.3 to 21.05.03; 21.5.4 to 21.05.04; 21.5.5 to 21.05.05; 21.5.6 to 21.05.06; 21.5.7 to 21.05.07; 21.5.8 to 21.05.08; 21.5.9 to 21.05.09; 21.5.10 to 21.05.10; 21.5.11 to 21.05.11; 21.5.12 to 21.05.12; and 21.5.13 to 21.05.13.
