Public comment in respect of the “Special Economic Zones Bill, 2011” (“Policy on the Development of Special Economic Zones in South Africa - 2012”), is due by 22 March 2012. The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) extended an “Invitation to Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Public Participation Workshops”. These workshops will be hosted countrywide, and on the respective day will be scheduled from 09:00 to 13:30. The following remaining dates have been scheduled, namely 01 March Limpopo, and 08 March Gauteng (Pretoria)
