Scanner Operations External Policy

SARS released its ‘Customs External Policy Scanner Operations’, effective from 29 March 2019. According to the Policy, the use of nonintrusive equipment such as x-ray scanners is one of the permitted physical inspection options Customs may use to examine goods.
