On 01 December 2010 Sars announced that following a successful 2010 Tax Season which saw millions of taxpayers filing their tax returns on time, it is expanding its footprint through the opening of a new branch in Edenvale, Johannesburg. In line with Sars’ ongoing programme to modernise its offices and services to taxpayers, the new Edenvale branch will be equipped with the latest technology and incorporate modern design elements that will make service delivery more streamlined and convenient. The branch, on the corner of Hendrik Potgieter Street and Van Riebeeck Avenue, will open its doors for business on 13 December 2010.
