Moroccan national airline Royal Air Maroc is set to resume flights to Angola this month, providing a significant boost to the business environment and tourism potential.

The announcement by the carrier, headquartered at Casablanca-Anfa Airport, underscores Angola's emergence as a destination for tourists and foreign investors seeking partnerships in the oil-rich nation.

Royal Air Maroc has cited promising prospects in fisheries and trade as additional reasons for reinstating flights to the Angolan capital.

This decision will grant access to more than 900 destinations across 170 countries through its 13 partner airlines, enhancing travel options to and from Luanda.

The expansion of African airlines, their growing operations, and the establishment of new routes and destinations are expected to result in an estimated 334 million passengers on the continent's air routes by 2037.
