On 24 June 2014, Indonesia notified the WTO’s Committee on Safeguards that on 20 June it had initiated a safeguard investigation on coated paper and paperboard. In the notification, Indonesia indicated as follows: “Those having substantial interests and wishing to be considered as interested parties in this investigation should submit a written request within a period of 15 working days in Indonesia from the date of initiation, to this address: The Indonesian Safeguards Committee (Komite Pengamanan Perdagangan Indonesia/KPPI) Jl. According to the South African merchandise trade statistics, South Africa did not export coated paper and paperboard to Indonesia.
