On 20 July National Treasury announced that the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) secretary-general was due to visit South Africa to launch its Economic Survey of South Africa.
The survey discusses the policies that have underpinned the tremendous social progress made over the past two decades, as well as the structural challenges that must be overcome to ensure stronger, sustainable and more inclusive growth for all South Africans.
Special chapters in the survey cover recommendations for lowering barriers to entrepreneurship and promoting small business growth and deepening regional integration within SADC.
