Warehousing and packing
now on offer

SIX YEARS since its launch, international forwarder Novotrans has moved to bigger premises in Spartan and expanded its service range to include warehousing and export packing.
It's all about niche marketing, says managing director Dirk Schšttler, who with his partner Graham Platt set up the company in 1994 as a specialist export forwarder.
Fifty percent of our exports move by road into Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, Mozambique and Namibia, all carried by subcontracted hauliers. We don't want to own our own trucks, and will continue to outsource this function.
In the international arena, Europe, North West Continent, UK and Far East are its strongest markets. Further expansion will conform to the company's niche marketing strategy.
In line with this philosophy, trophy exports are big business for Novotrans.
Using what we believe is the best packing system on the market, we can pack at the customer's premises and offer him a damage-free door to door service.
The new Novotrans premises in Spartan offer 900 square metres of warehousing space, packing and handling for those exporters who don't have the facilities in-house.
From its early days as a 4-person operation Novotrans now employs 15 staff members and will continue to expand through customised solutions in specialist markets, says Schšttler.
